Africa-EU Space Partnership Programme — Institutional Cooperation

As part of the Global Gateway strategy, the Africa–EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP) strengthens collaboration between the European Union (EU) and Africa in the field of space technologies, services, and applications.
The Africa–EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP) is a flagship initiative under the EU Global Gateway strategy, designed to strengthen the institutional, managerial, technical, and operational capacity of African stakeholders as the African Space Agency becomes operational.
The specific contract, 'Institutional Cooperation', focuses on the development of strategic studies, infrastructure planning, training activities and communication initiatives, with the aim of laying solid foundations for effective and sustainable long-term operations.
The work is implemented by an international consortium led by PwC France, with SpaceHubs Africa, e-GEOS, Endurosat, EARSC, and FDC, supported by the Italian Space Agency and ALSO Space.
SpaceHubs Africa's role
SpaceHubs Africa provides support to the strategic studies and leads the communication activities. In particular, we manage and operate the African Space Newsroom - a multimedia platform, hosted on AfSA's website, to deliver regular editorial coverage for African space stakeholders.
