Provide your own insight

Spacehubs Africa is seeking new and original articles that comment on the ever-expanding African space ecosystem.

We consider two different types of articles for publication, research, and opinion, and they are discussed in more detail below. By submitting an article, you agree that the work meets the criteria and does not infringe upon any copyright or intellectual property laws. All submitted articles are first screened by the editor to determine:

  • Suitability and appropriateness

  • Academic rigor and writing quality

  • The type of article submitted

  • If the article meets the defined criteria

Feature articles typically use secondary research. In a feature article, the argument is based on findings, not on speculation; and ideas and beliefs are related to an existing body of knowledge and what is new in what is said.

Opinion articles typically do not involve primary or secondary research, although a short list of references to support the article is often helpful. The author’s personal views and conclusions should be based on the author’s subject matter expertise and experience on the topic.

The subject matter of the article is very broad, and the only stipulation is that it touches upon something relevant, interesting, or noteworthy for Africans and the African space ecosystem.
