SPACE HERO PARTNERS WITH SPACEHUBS AFRICA
SPACEHUBS AFRICA have the pleasure to announce that they are officially supporting Space Hero. SPACE HERO, founded by Deborah Sass and Thomas Reemer, is a world-wide movement aiming to democratize Space and plans to send someone into space in 2023 with the ISS. The lucky person will be chosen through a rough competition who will be recorded as a television reality show.
Space Hero’s mission is fuelled by curiosity, disruption, and most importantly a contribution to the community. The entrepreneurialism and opportunities that something like Space Hero can give, along with the support of SPACEHUBS AFRICA, will allow youth from Africa to develop technology, drive innovation and inspire the next generation of space explorers.
SPACEHUBS AFRICA aims to empower Africans to develop space-based solutions for the development of their local communities, and is pursuing a vision where Africans participate in the global space industry. To that end, Space Hero’s movement has very important values and beliefs.
SPACEHUBS AFRICA shares that point of view, and is very glad to support them through this incredible journey. Sharing the idea of changing the space sector, to see it evolve is something that would be beneficial to all.
Many of us have dreamed of going into space as children, of being an astronaut. However, we have given up on this idea, due to lack of ambition, complexity of access, lack of resources and much more. Space Hero is here today to make space accessible to everyone.
